Meet the Team
Heritage Electrical are a small team of passionate electricians, whose focus is on completing the job to the highest standard of workmanship, using the best possible materials, and ultimately instilling confidence in their customers.
We believe in transparency, and for that reason have started creating video content to inform our prospective customers of the processes involved in installation and testing. We have found this a useful way of being able to de-mystify some of our work before customers decide to go ahead with an installation.
Paul
Paul Watson (with Ralphie the dog) is the founder of the company, and has been an electrician for 20 years. In addition to the electrical, his knowledge base covers elements of plumbing and general building work, having started out his working life at New Charter. Here he covered a vast array of emergency callout situations, both electrical and otherwise.
He set out on his own after a couple of years with the intention of creating a company focussed on detail rather than getting the job done as fast and cheap as possible. The company has remained small over the years to ensure that any member of staff exhibits the same care and attention to detail as Paul himself.
Tom
Tom Lonsborough has been with the company since 2018. He started out with a Masters in Chemistry before becoming a teacher for a decade. He retrained as an electrician in his 30s and found his calling! Tom loves the facts, figures and particulars of the wiring regulations, installation and testing: after graduating from college, he was asked to go back and teach the EAL L2/3 courses.
Away from Heritage, Paul and Tom are passionate about healthy living: they’re always on the look out for new superfoods, and enjoy a good hike together.
